Dr. Kshitij Chaudhary is a Consultant Spine Surgeon in the Orthopaedic Surgery department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, who specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery. He has done is primary training in spine surgery from the USA. He completed both his medical school training (MBBS) and residency training at the prestigious King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. He was awarded the Gold Medal for standing first in India in the DNB Orthopaedic exams in 2006. Following this, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai for over four years in a Spine Unit, where he gained considerable experience in treating spinal disorders.Dr. Chaudhary is proficient in the latest technological advancements in adult and pediatric spine surgery, having worked at different centers of excellence in the world. He holds a Clinical Fellowship in Spine Surgery from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard University, Boston, USA. He is also a John H. Moe Fellow from the world famous Twin Cities Spine Center, Minneapolis, USA and Gillette Children’s Hospital, St. Paul, USA. He has been a visiting surgeon to world-renowned universities in Japan (Hokkaido University), USA (Cedar Sinai Hospital, Los Angeles) and UK (Nottingham University).Dr. Chaudhary has 13 International & National publications (indexed) to his credit, with over 100 citations who major focus on cervical spine and craniovertebral spine research. His research work has received awards including SM Tuli Best Case Paper Award (IOA, Mumbai) and Best International Paper (RSNA, Chicago, USA). He is the recipient of the Global Outreach Fellowship awarded by the Scoliosis Research Society, USA, 2010. He has written several book chapters, primarily focusing on Minimally invasive spine surgery.
