Dr Laxmi Kamat is working at Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital as a Full Time Anaesthesiologist since September 2005. Presently she is the coordinator of the Department of Anaesthesia.She was a lecturer at L.T. M. G Hospital from 7 years and assistant Professor at G. S. Medical College and K.E.M Hospital for 20 years before joining Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital. She became Professor at L.T. M. G Hospital from 2001 till June 2005. She has a teaching experience of 25 years.She has been associated with Maharashtra Chapter of the ISA as a Founding Secretary for 2 years & as a Vice President for 2 years. Also she had been the President (1 Year), Secretary (3 year) & Treasurer (3 year) with Indian Society of Anaesthesia (Mumbai). She is an Examiner and Convener for M.D. Anaesthesia Exam at university of Mumbai. She is actively involved with Teaching Programme management at Dept.She has worked in all super speciality of Anaesthesia and has 8 yrs of experience in Neuro-Anaesthesia. She has been invited as guest speaker and chairperson at various state and national level conferences.
