Dr. Sonali Parlikar — General Physician in Kalyan, Kalyan

Dr. Sonali Parlikar has spent 25 years working as a bariatric physician, or diet and obesity consultant. She passed MBBS in 1994 and followed it with postgraduate study in nutrition and dietetics at Madras' Institute of Health Care Administration, then worked alongside the obesity consultant Dr Dhurandhar. In May 1997 she opened obesity clinics of her own in Kalyan and in Dombivli; the Kalyan practice runs from Ajit Scanning Centre on Murbad Road. Services cover obesity treatment, weight reduction, diet, slimming and body therapy, using equipment such as cellulite deep heat therapy, electronic muscle stimulators and Karada scanning. She is a founder member of the All India Association for Advancing Research in Obesity.
